We may be minutes from the city, but we are miles away from city life! This quiet, country setting is the perfect site for that special outdoor event – family reunion, anniversary celebration, company party, workshop, clinic, retreat, or performance. Dunrovin’s creative staff is ready to use the ranch’s many resources as well as those of our business partners and larger community to help you host a truly unique event. Consider a few examples:
- Surprise your family with a Bitterroot River float that brings them to Dunrovin for a gourmet dinner beneath the stars or a barbeque around a fire on the beach
- Host a family reunion with all the kissing cousins – stay at Dunrovin or host the relatives yourself and bring everyone out for a Day at Dunrovin full of ranch activities.
- Invite your employee to a company party complete with horseback riding, swimming, and line dancing lessons after a hearty Montana steak dinner cooked to perfection on the grill!

A Taste of Montana is the perfect way to entertain visiting relatives, wedding parties, conference attendees, company socials, or special birthday parties. Options for your event include: horseback riding, fly-casting lessons/contests, horseshoe or volleyball games, barbequed meals and fire pit fondue, music and dancing. Have your choice of fare, provided by Dunrovin, a caterer or yourselves.
Dunrovin Ranch’s staff is available to work with you and provide other special activities like pin the tail on the real donkey, the crazy cowboy hat contest, etc. The sky is the limit and we live under a big sky.
Package prices depend on the type of meal served and the kinds of supervised or guided activities included. There is a 10 person minimum. Student and nonprofit groups receive a 10% discount.

While winter weather in Montana can be unpredictable and downright nasty for outdoor events – it can also be a magical time. Dunrovin Ranch has hosted a number of winter parties, picnics, and even performances. Our dance pavilion can be totally enclosed and comfortably heated when outside temperatures are above 20 degrees – which is frequently. Winter picnics have a 
very special charm with guests gathered around a fire pit to roast a s’more and drink a hot chocolate. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season – and the public land adjacent to Dunrovin has a terrific sledding hill. Our horses love to dress up for the holidays and participate in the fun – so if you believe like we do that “there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes” give us a call for a truly different winter outing.
