Dunrovin Ranch is the perfect place for a family reunion, retreat, or gathering for old friends. In fact, Dunrovin Ranch got its start by hosting family reunions for our own large family. Sterling Miller (Dunrovin Ranch owner) is from a family of nine children who get together every other year for a full on family reunion with between 40 and 50 people attending. Everyone loves coming here for reunions because it is private, has lots of space for playing and relaxing, yet lots of little cozy spaces for individual conversations, and there is no end to the number of wonderful activities – both indoor and outdoor – that people of all ages can enjoy right on the ranch, in the Missoula area, or with day's trip in western Montana.
During our family reunions, we typically have breakfast together and set out bag lunch makings for everyone to make their own lunch and put into the appropriate cooler marked for that day’s activities – e.g. float trip, horseback ride, berry picking trip, etc. People split up for part of the day to do activities in small groups, then return to Dunrovin for an evening dinner, board games, dancing, or other group activities.
What all this means is that we have YEARS of experience hosting large family reunions. Our staff is available to help you plan and execute a totally unforgettable reunion, gathering, or retreat. We know many, many activities and games to bring people together for a great time. The facilities lend themselves to such a gathering with places for large group gatherings and private space for people to retreat to catch their breath.

Tenting at Dunrovin. To accommodate family reunions and group retreats, Dunrovin allows in combination with renting all accommodations. Tent campers have access to an outside-entry bathroom with shower. Campers can bring their own tents and sleeping bags or use one of ours.

Dogs are welcome upon approval and with restrictions to ensure the safety and comfort of all other guests and animals at Dunrovin. There is a $20/night fee for each dog and a $50 cleaning refundable deposit is required.An outdoor kennel is available.

Personal Chef
Personal Chef Alan Brown is offering his service to Dunrovin Ranch guests. With advance
reservations, Chef Brown will prepare select dinners before your arrival and have them ready and
waiting for you to dine on at your convenience. All dinners are personalized to your tastes using
excellent quality ingredients purchased fresh locally and cooked for you at Dunrovin Ranch.

Ranch Staff Support is available to help you plan, organize, and support your reunion. We can create and supervise special activities for young kids (pin the tail on the real donkey!), shuttle people to and from the put in place for floating in inner tube to and from Dunrovin, hold a crazy cowboy hat decorating contest, and take your group on a Meet Montana Tour to show you the sights in western Montana.
